A lovely opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mother’s Help / Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family based in Cobham, Surrey. This is a varied, rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting busy family life and takes pride in running an organised, well-maintained home.

Working Monday to Friday, you’ll combine high-quality housekeeping with family support, healthy cooking, school preparation and helping ensure each day runs smoothly. This is not solely a cleaning role – you’ll become a valued extra pair of hands within a kind family household. The family are looking for someone patient, proactive and caring, with previous experience supporting children and confidence working in a busy family environment. Experience supporting neurodivergent children would be highly advantageous.

Duties will include:

  • Full housekeeping to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry and ironing.
  • Preparing healthy, nutritious family meals and school lunches.
  • Keeping the home organised, tidy and running efficiently.
  • Supporting the children’s daily routines, homework and preparing everything needed for the following day.
  • School collections and driving to clubs and activities.
  • Caring for the family’s three dogs and two cats as part of the daily routine.
  • Running errands and assisting with light household administration.
  • Working proactively and using your own initiative to support the family wherever needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Mother’s Help, Nanny Housekeeper, Family Assistant or Housekeeper within a private household.
  • Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Confidence preparing healthy family meals.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • A warm, patient and positive nature.
  • Experience supporting children, ideally including neurodivergent children.
  • The ability to work independently with discretion and initiative.
  • A genuine love of both children and animals.
