Full-Time Housekeeper / Family Cook – Cobham, Surrey £50K
Location: Cobham, Surrey
Salary: £50,000 gross per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 10:00am to 6:00pm

A welcoming professional family based in Cobham, Surrey is seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Family Cook for a long-term position within their private family home.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Housekeeper who enjoys combining high-standard housekeeping with fresh, healthy family cooking and general household organisation.
The role would suit someone proactive, organised and self-motivated who enjoys taking ownership of their responsibilities and naturally notices what needs doing. The family is looking for someone who takes genuine pride in creating a beautifully maintained, organised and welcoming home.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the home to an exceptionally high standard
- General and detailed housekeeping
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- Household organisation and general tidying
- Maintaining excellent standards of presentation throughout the home
- Keeping household supplies well stocked and organised
Family Cooking
- Plan and prepare fresh, healthy family dinners
- Prepare straightforward, nutritious and tasty meals rather than formal cuisine
- Shop for fresh produce and ingredients
- Maintain an organised kitchen, fridge, cupboards and food storage
- Manage grocery shopping and household provisioning
Household Support
- Coordinate deliveries and household appointments where required
- Liaise with contractors and service providers
- Run household errands
- Care for the family dog, including daily walks
- Identify household tasks requiring attention and ensure they are dealt with
- Provide practical day-to-day support to help family life run smoothly
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Private Housekeeper, Housekeeper/Cook or Family Cook/Housekeeper
- Confident family cook with a passion for fresh, healthy food
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- Trustworthy, discreet and professional
- Positive, personable and dependable
- Comfortable caring for and walking a small dog
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Looking for a stable, long-term position within a private family home
- Ideally living within a reasonable commuting distance of Cobham, Surrey
Salary & Package
- Up to £50,000 gross per annum
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 10:00am to 6:00pm
