A lovely private family based in Cobham, Surrey is seeking an experienced, proactive, and child-friendly Live-Out Housekeeper to support the smooth running of a busy family home. This is a varied household role suited to an experienced housekeeper who enjoys working in a family environment and is confident around school-aged children. The successful candidate will be organised, hands-on, warm, and capable of managing household duties to a high standard whilst assisting with family routines where needed.

The family is ideally looking for someone to start in September, although there is the opportunity for paid introductory days and occasional support during the summer period ahead of the full-time start date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, and household organisation
  • Preparing healthy, nutritious family meals
  • Assisting with school preparation including uniforms, bags, and daily routines
  • Supporting with homework, reading, and after-school routines where required
  • Driving children to and from school, clubs, and activities
  • Assisting with pet care for family dogs and cats
  • Running occasional household errands
  • Helping to maintain a calm, organised, and welcoming family home
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a private household as a Housekeeper, Family Housekeeper, or Housekeeper Cook
  • Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
  • Confident family cook with knowledge of healthy meals
  • Child-friendly with a warm and patient nature
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent children would be highly advantageous
  • Full clean UK driving licence essential
  • Reliable, discreet, and proactive
  • Comfortable working around pets
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Flexibility for occasional additional hours if required
  • Live-out position
  • Competitive salary offered depending on experience.
Start Date

September 2026 preferred, with the opportunity for occasional days during summer beforehand.
