SILKE is a London-based haircare brand built on a simple belief: beautiful hair begins with healthy hair. Founded by mother‑daughter duo Maria and Christine, SILKE pioneered the silk hair tools category with the launch of the original SILKE Hair Wrap in 2016. Since then, we have become known for creating beautifully made, damage‑free hair tools. We are a brand rooted in quality, craftsmanship and performance – and we are looking for a Brand & Content Marketing Manager to help shape how SILKE shows up across every customer touchpoint.

We are looking for a Brand & Content Marketing Manager to help lead SILKE’s marketing strategy and brand execution across content, campaigns and communications. This is a cross‑functional role for someone who is equal parts strategic and hands‑on. Working closely with the Head of Digital and CEO, you will help turn campaign priorities, product launches, and brand moments into clear, compelling content and messaging. A key part of this role is communication and organisation. You will be responsible for keeping content projects moving, ensuring the right information is shared with the right people at the right time, and making sure briefs, feedback, timelines and deliverables are clearly managed across internal teams, freelancers, creators and external partners.

You will set the broad content direction and own the messaging across paid, organic, website, email, Amazon, influencer, PR and partnerships, with particular focus on ensuring our communication feels consistent, on‑brand and aligned to the customer journey. You will work closely with and manage our Content Executive, who will execute much of the day‑time content creation, ensuring creative output is strong, purposeful, on‑brand and delivered in line with agreed priorities and timelines. You will report to and maintain the campaign structures and processes set by the Head of Digital, helping to keep the wider team aligned and accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing strategy & campaign planning
    • Support the Head of Digital in turning trading insights, performance learnings, launches and seasonal moments into clear campaign content plans.
    • Develop monthly campaign briefs covering creative direction, messaging, asset requirements and channel rollout.
    • Brief these into internal team members, creators and external freelancers – ensuring everyone understands what is needed, why it is needed and when it is due.
    • Own content critical paths and ensure all deliverables are briefed, reviewed and delivered on time.
    • Ensure campaign activity is aligned across paid, organic, website, email, Amazon, influencer and PR.
  • Content strategy & content management
    • Clearly define campaign themes, core messages, content hooks and required deliverables for each month.
    • Manage the content creation process from initial brainstorm through to final review and sign‑off.
    • Provide clear direction to the Content Executive, freelancers, creators and external partners on what content is needed and why.
    • Ensure content requirements are communicated clearly and in good time so work can be delivered efficiently.
    • Review creative output to ensure it is on‑brand, aligned with the brief and suitable for the relevant customer touchpoint.
  • Brand messaging & copy
    • Own copy and messaging across all key customer touchpoints, including website, email, campaign content, product launches, press materials and brand communications.
    • Maintain a clear, distinctive and consistent tone of voice across all channels.
    • Turn product features, customer insights and brand stories into compelling, customer‑facing messaging.
    • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent and relevant to the customer at each stage of their journey.
    • Use trading insights, customer feedback and performance learnings to help shape timely, relevant content and messaging.
  • Influencer, UGC & gifting
    • Identify and outreach to creators, talent and brand advocates aligned with SILKE’s positioning.
    • Manage influencer and UGC activity from sourcing and outreach through to negotiation, briefing and final approval.
    • Ensure influencer content is strategically useful, creatively strong and consistent with the SILKE brand.
    • Oversee influencer and VIP gifting, ensuring activity feels thoughtful, relevant and brand‑appropriate.
  • PR & partnerships
    • Work with SILKE’s external PR support to ensure press activity, messaging and brand opportunities are aligned with the wider marketing plan.
    • Manage relevant PR content requirements, ensuring messaging, assets and product information are clear, accurate and on‑brand.
    • Source and negotiate partnership opportunities that grow awareness, strengthen brand perception and support the wider content strategy.
    • Manage partnership delivery from idea through to execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables and communication are clear.
  • Team process & organisation
    • Maintain the briefing and content management processes set by the Head of Digital.
    • Ensure internal teams, freelancers, creators and external partners have the information they need and are aligned on priorities, timelines, deliverables to deliver on time and to brief.
    • Manage feedback loops clearly, ensuring comments, approvals and amends are communicated in a timely and constructive way.
    • Hold contributors accountable to agreed timings, deliverables and ways of working.
    • Proactively flag risks, delays or gaps in information before they affect delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a brand, content or integrated marketing role, ideally within beauty, fashion, lifestyle or premium consumer brands.
  • This role requires someone who is clear, confident and composed in their communication, with the ability to hold others accountable and keep work moving in a busy, fast‑paced team.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas into clear content plans and execution.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a strong instinct for tone of voice.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, paid and organic social, email, website and influencer activity.
  • Confident briefing creatives, creators and external partners.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.
  • Commercially aware, with a good understanding of how brand and performance work together.
  • Someone who is proactive, collaborative and excited to help build a growing brand.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Are

  • A strong brand thinker with sharp creative instincts.
  • As comfortable zooming out to campaign strategy as zooming in on a caption, headline or brief.
  • Highly organised without becoming rigid.
  • Clear, decisive and confident in your point of view.
  • Energised by building process, not just following it.
  • Interested in beauty, haircare, wellness and consumer behaviour.
  • Excited by founder‑led brands and premium storytelling.
