The Role
The purpose of the M365 Consultant role is to serve as a trusted advisor within the Professional Services team. You will work on client engagements, ensuring the delivery of outstanding solutions across multiple projects. You work closely with clients to understand business challenges and objectives, providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Work with our clients to understand their challenges, business needs and opportunities to embrace Microsoft 365.
- Design and implement innovative solutions, working with User Experience team and Developers to drive high-quality outcomes for our clients.
- Provide Microsoft 365 architectural and technical product expertise, specifically in SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, and Viva.
- Identify opportunities for business process automation/collaboration and provide solutions that drive adoption, streamline processes and facilitate communications.
- Use demonstrable skills in communication and presentation.
- Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and achieve the desired outcomes in the most effective and suitable way, maximising what Microsoft 365 has to offer.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the Professional Services team.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services to clients and work with the account managers to convert these into projects.
- Attend client site when required, to build relationships, and facilitate meetings/workshops.
Required Skills/Experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps & services, specifically SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Viva, Azure, Purview & Azure Entra ID.
- Experience working with and administering the Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience understanding customer requirements and designing and implementing solutions.
- Good communicator, able to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, internal and external.
- Discovery techniques for requirements gathering and user research methods and strategies.
- A good understanding of what a people first approach means.
- Ability to clearly document requirements, specifications and processes.
