We are looking for a Part-Time Bookings Administrator to join our languages team. This part-time, office-based position offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Salary is £23,000 – £24,000 pro rata, dependent on experience and relevant skills, with full training provided. After the full training program, there may be opportunities for occasional remote work, subject to business needs and team agreements. The core hours of 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM will generally be required. The Part-Time Bookings Administrator will be the first point of contact for clients seeking interpreting services and for the interpreters. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations, including services to be booked, scheduling appointments, requesting interpreter/translator availability, confirming bookings, making amendments as required, and filling short-notice emergency bookings. Key Duties: * Process bookings and inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Schedule appointments for interpreters * Answer the telephone and be the first point of contact for clients and interpreters * Provide and maintain excellent customer service * Manage interpreter/translator availability * Confirm bookings and make amendments as required * Fill short-notice emergency bookings * Perform filing and general office administration tasks You Must: * Be a confident, self-motivated individual with a friendly and personable manner * Be able to multi-task under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks * Be a strong verbal and written communicator * Be confident speaking over the phone with clients and interpreters * Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Be highly organised, accurate, and pay great attention to detail * Be able to work as part of a team, but also independently when required * Have a flexible and supportive attitude towards your job role and team members Benefits: * On-site parking * Opportunities for career growth within the company * Monthly lunches * Christmas bonuses Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview
