As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly organised and proactive Production Control Assistant to join our Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of our manufacturing operation.
Working closely with Production, Planning, Stores, Logistics and Quality, you'll help ensure materials, documentation and customer orders flow efficiently through the business, supporting on-time delivery and operational excellence.
The Role
As a Production Control Assistant, you'll provide vital administrative and planning support across the manufacturing process.
From creating production works orders and managing customer schedules to coordinating dispatch activities and maintaining production records, you'll be at the centre of ensuring our operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain production works orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Process customer sales orders and subcontract purchase orders within the ERP/MRP system.
- Download and maintain customer production schedules to support manufacturing plans.
- Coordinate customer dispatches, delivery bookings and shipping documentation, including Certificates of Conformity (Co C/Co FC).
- Maintain accurate production, inventory and dispatch records to support full traceability and audit compliance.
- Support Bond Store administration, materials control and the release of works orders to production.
- Work closely with Production, Stores, Logistics and Quality teams to ensure customer delivery commitments are achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve production administration processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment where no two days are the same.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience in a Production Control, Production Planning, Manufacturing Administration or Production Support role.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to support operational requirements and continuous improvement activities.
- Experience with dispatch administration, works orders, production scheduling or inventory control would be advantageous.
