Join our growing team. We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing Precision Machining team. The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision aerospace components to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up, programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and CNC programs.
- Selecting tooling, fixtures, cutting speeds and feeds for efficient machining.
- Editing CNC programs and adjusting offsets where required.
- Carrying out self-inspection using precision measuring equipment.
- Completing quality documentation and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
- Diagnosing machining issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality teams while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience operating and programming CNC machinery within a precision engineering environment.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Experience machining precision components within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- A commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.
