The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are seeking a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join a family run business based in Reading. An ideal background would include experience as a Customer Service Advisor, preferably in the automotive sector. However, we also encourage applications from Service Advisors in other automotive fields.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:
- Provide professional and friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
- Manage workshop Work in Progress and schedule MOT and service appointments.
- Keep customers updated on vehicle progress.
- Clarify repair basis (Retail / Warranty / Contract) for customers and workshop.
- Promote additional workshop services and identify necessary parts for repairs.
- Obtain authorisation, order parts, and handle account details.
- Build rapport with staff and customers while maintaining accurate records.
The Package:
Basic salary: £27,000 - £29,000 with an OTE of up to £33,000!!
Hours: Monday to Friday [40 Hours per week]!!
(1-in-3) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm] paid at 1.5 in addition to salary & bonus!!!
