The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an experienced Regional Dealership Accountant to join a leading automotive dealership group. Based in Exeter, this role is perfect for a finance professional with a strong background in the motor trade, who is ready to oversee and enhance the financial operations across multiple dealership locations.
Motor trade experience essential.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Regional Dealership Accountant:
- Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Develop, monitor, and manage regional dealership budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for multiple dealership locations.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Analyse costs and financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee inventory accounting and valuation, including stock levels and asset depreciation.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to dealership management for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage regional cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
- Utilise financial software and systems to generate reports and analyse financial data.
- Work closely with dealership managers and other financial professionals to align financial strategies with operational goals.
Package:
Basic Salary £60,000 + £6,000 Bonus + Company Car!!
Monday to Friday hours [8:30am - 5:30am]!
