Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established motor trade dealership group, with a site based in Southampton. Our client is looking to welcome a Trainee Service Advisor to their busy aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a long-term career in the motor trade, within a supportive and structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for service, MOT, and repair work.
- Accurately recording customer and vehicle information while following dealership processes.
- Supporting the service team and keeping customers informed throughout the service process.
The Ideal Candidate
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.
- Previous customer service and/or administration exposure (motor trade experience not essential).
- A confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
- Holds a clean UK driving licence.
- Willing to work full-time and keen to build a career in a customer-focused role.
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a positive working environment.
Package
- Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 6:00pm - 1 hour lunch break
- No weekends!
- £25,300 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Full training and career development within a respected dealership group.
