Group Parts Manager in Portsmouth

The Role: Are you an experienced Group Parts Manager with a proven background overseeing multiple automotive parts departments and leading large scale teams? Silcom Recruitment is currently working with an established and successful automotive group seeking an accomplished Group Parts Manager to oversee the parts operations across 9 sites throughout Hampshire and West Sussex. This is a senior, highly influential position requiring regular travel between sites, with responsibility for driving commercial performance, developing teams and ensuring consistent operational standards across the group. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Group Parts Manager: Strong previous experience within automotive Parts Management is essential. You must have demonstrable experience managing multiple sites and large scale parts teams. Oversee the performance and day to day operation of parts departments across 9 locations. Provide leadership, coaching and support to Parts Managers and their wider teams. Drive parts revenue, profitability, stock performance and departmental KPIs across the group. Monitor stock levels, stock turn, obsolete stock and overall inventory management. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and commercial performance. Ensure consistent standards and best practice are maintained across all sites. Develop strong working relationships with Aftersales Managers, Service departments and senior management. Monitor departmental budgets, targets and performance, taking appropriate action where required. Support recruitment, training, development and succession planning across the parts operation. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements. Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills. A full UK Driving Licence is required due to the regular travel involved across multiple locations. The Package: Basic salary of £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience. Realistic OTE of £65,000. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm. No weekends! Company EV vehicle provided, with the ability to charge the vehicle on site.
