Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a valued client based in Ferndown, who are looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing independent used car dealership and workshop. Opportunities are available across multiple levels, Vehicle Technicians, and Master Technicians.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose faults and complete vehicle health checks to identify additional work.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and documented accurately.
  • Previous experience within a dealership or independent garage environment is advantageous.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.

The Package:

  • Salary: Up to £40,000 basic.
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm, No weekends or bank holidays!
  • Modern workshop facilities with up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
  • Supportive team environment within a well-established independent used car dealership.
