Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a premium automotive retailer based in Farnborough, who are looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their modern aftersales workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a manufacturer-approved workshop, working with the latest diagnostic equipment, genuine parts, and cutting-edge vehicle technology. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and vehicle diagnostics to manufacturer standards.
- Complete vehicle health checks, identifying any additional work required.
- Use the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose and rectify faults.
- Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
- Maintain accurate job records and complete all workshop documentation.
- Work collaboratively within a busy, professional workshop environment.
- Previous experience within a franchised dealership or independent garage is advantageous.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
- MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
The Package:
- Salary: £34,272 basic + bonus - £38,000 OTE!!
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm – 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm.
