Silcom Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a new and exciting client who seeks a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, independent specialist vehicle workshop located in Exeter. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a clean, modern, and well-equipped facility, focusing on high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and enhancements on a wide variety of vehicles from modern performance cars to classic marques.
This role is perfectly suited to an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, values a supportive team environment, and appreciates a true Monday to Friday work-life balance, with no weekends required.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:- Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical upgrades to a high standard.
- Work across a wide range of marques, including modern prestige, all makes and models, and classic vehicles.
- Ensure accurate fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer level systems.
- Maintain a methodical and high-quality approach to all repair work, keeping documentation and job cards up to date.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and service staff to ensure smooth workshop operations.
- Keep up to date with evolving technology, tooling, and vehicle systems through provided training.
- Adhere to health & safety and internal quality standards at all times.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Previous experience working with performance, specialist, or classic vehicles is desirable but not essential.
- Salary: £50,000 basic per annum.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
- No weekend work required.
