The Role:
Silcom Recruitment have a rare and unique opportunity for those who are passionate about classic and vintage cars. If you’re an experienced sales professional who thrives in a specialist environment, this is a rare opportunity to join a well-established and respected classic car business.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Sales Manager:
- Engage and consult with customers to understand their needs and match them to suitable vehicles.
- Provide detailed, accurate knowledge of stock including model history, provenance, and specifications.
- Generate and follow up leads through showroom visits, phone, email, and online enquiries.
- Maintain excellent standards of presentation in the showroom and forecourt.
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry to delivery, including part exchange and finance options.
- Build a loyal client base and maintain relationships with existing customers and collectors.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in automotive sales, preferably in the classic/vintage or prestige sector.
- Genuine passion and in-depth knowledge of classic cars, marques, and models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering a high-end customer experience.
- Professional, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Ability to work Saturdays and maintain flexibility with your schedule.
Package:
- £35,000 basic salary with realistic OTE of £45,000 Uncapped - based on % profit of each vehicle sold.
- 5-day working week 08:30am - 5:30pm, including Saturdays with a Sunday & weekday off.
