The Role: Silcom Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced or aspiring Used Car Sales Controller, to join an established, main dealership group. Our client is located in Basingstoke, and represents a household name, working with a small team of five Sales Executives.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Take full ownership of the finance and insurance function within the sales department.
- Focus on managing and converting customer renewals, maximising retention and profitability.
- Present and sell finance, insurance, warranties, and additional products in a professional and compliant manner.
- Support the sales team in structuring competitive and profitable deals.
- Ensure all finance documentation is accurate and fully compliant with FCA regulations and company standards.
- Monitor F&I penetration rates and drive continuous performance improvement.
- Deliver an exceptional customer journey from proposal through to vehicle handover.
- Must possess a valid UK driver’s licence.
The Package:
- £35,000 Basic – £60,000+ On Target Earnings Potential!!
- Five Day Working Week - Monday to Friday – 8:30am - 6:00pm - Day off in the week.
- Saturday – 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Sunday - 10:00am - 4:00pm - You work 1 in 2 Sundays (which in turn gives you an additional day off in the week).
- Team of five sales executives - looking to go to six.
