The Role: Are you a highly experienced Service Technician seeking a fresh and stimulating career opportunity? Silcom Recruitment is currently working with a fantastic client actively searching for a skilled Service Technician to become part of their team, located in Otterbourne. This independent garage provides outstanding training and development opportunities!
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Technician:
- Driving Licence (required).
- You will hold an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum.
- You will hold a valid MOT Tester Licence.
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults where required.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance, servicing, MOT and repair activities.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a workshop environment.
The Package:
- Basic salary of £37,000 + Bonus £6,000 per year [Circa total package of £43,000]
- Amazing work hours, Monday to Friday [8:00am – 4:30pm].
- Ability to do overtime too!
- No weekends!
