Ideally based in Bristol/M5 Corridor
This successful, long-standing and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in their field. On behalf of the major CNC cutting tool manufacturers, they promote a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, grooving, milling and boring. In order to further strengthen their team, they have a requirement for a talented Technical Engineer to cover the South West/South Wales and Wolverhampton. The ideal base would be Bristol/M5 Corridor.
Working closely with Account Managers and Regional Account Managers, you will be responsible for the promotion of a range of high-quality cutting products and solutions to several sectors including Aerospace and Sub-contract Engineering. Reporting to the Technical Engineering Director, this exciting role will see you managing a portfolio of specific accounts working collaboratively to grow the existing business. Working from home, you will be covering a large area although with proper area management the clients preference is to keep overnight stays to a maximum of one per week.
Having served a relevant engineering Apprenticeship, you will have a sound metal working knowledge focusing on one or more of the following areas: CNC Machining, Drilling, Milling, Turning, Tapping and Grinding. Sales experience would be an advantage but it is not essential. Character is key and you should be a team player with first-class communication and listening skills. There is a thorough induction and training process and, whilst solid support will be given, you should be a disciplined, IT literate and target-driven individual capable of working on your own initiative when required. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career both personally and professionally with a forward-thinking market leader.
