In order to further strengthen their team, they are seeking a talented Product Specialist for Holemaking.
The role will see you providing technical support to customers, Area Sales Managers and internal teams. You’ll be supporting customer trials, product testing, making technical evaluations and completing demonstrations and test reports. Reporting to the Rotating Tools Manager and working in a team-based environment, you’ll be delivering product and application training to internal and external customers as well as supporting product launches, seminars and open houses.
Further responsibilities will include your contribution to market research, competitor analysis and product strategy. You should have strong, hands-on technical and application knowledge within the CNC sector gained via a technical apprenticeship or qualification. Solid carbide tooling experience is expected, particularly Milling and Drilling in sectors such as Aerospace and Automotive. This should be combined with a commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
Self-motivated, influential and possessing strong planning and organisational skills, you’ll be comfortable working independently in a national role with overnight stays. You should have first-class communication and presentation skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and will possess the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and sales teams.
