Product Specialist – Holemaking
£46,000 - £48,000 + bonus, comm, FE car + benefits.
National role requiring regular UK mainland travel. You must be based within 90 minutes of the B15/B16 postcodes.
Overview
This successful, longstanding and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of carbide metalworking products including Turning, Milling, Grooving and Boring. In order to further strengthen their team, they are seeking a talented Product Specialist for Holemaking.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers, Area Sales Managers and internal teams.
- Support customer trials, product testing, conduct technical evaluations and complete demonstrations and test reports.
- Deliver product and application training to internal and external customers.
- Support product launches, seminars and open houses.
- Contribute to market research, competitor analysis and product strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong, hands‑on technical and application knowledge within the CNC sector gained via a technical apprenticeship or qualification.
- Solid carbide tooling experience, particularly Milling and Drilling in sectors such as Aerospace and Automotive.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Self‑motivated, influential and possessing strong planning and organisational skills; comfortable working independently in a national role with overnight stays.
- First‑class communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and sales teams.
My client’s induction programme is superb and whilst excellent and ongoing support will be given in a highly team‑based environment, it is key that you are also able to work individually and travel nationally.
