Responsibilities
- Provide accurate interpretation services between Oromo and English
- Assist in facilitating effective communication for Oromo-speaking individuals in a variety of settings, including healthcare, legal, educational, and social contexts
- Maintain detailed records of assignments and adhere to client-specific guidelines

Requirements
- Proficiency in Oromo and English
- Prior experience as Oromo interpreter

- Minimum 2 years’ Interpreting experience
- Community Interpreting Level 3 Certificate
- DPSI
- Any other qualifications related to Interpreting or Translation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Languages, Translation, Interpretation or Linguistics
- Ph.D. or Doctoral in Linguistics
- Certificate of Higher Education in Translation, Interpretation, Languages, Philology or Linguistics
