JOB DETAILS :
Job title: BCG Programme Manager.
Contract: Full Time – Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8:00am – 5:00pm.

JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder will be responsible for managing and leading BCG teams to ensure day to day operational delivery and service management for clinical and non-clinical services to deliver programme completion within budget and agreed timelines within a specified region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and lead the team effectively to ensure high performance and ensure compliance with annual appraisals, personal development plans and appropriate training.
- Oversee the operational delivery of immunisation services within the designated area, ensuring services are accessible, efficient, and effective.
- Responsible for local uptake levels and working to targets and KPIs.
- Monitor the financial aspects of the immunisation program within the assigned area, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and tracking costs related to service delivery, including staffing, equipment, and consumables.
- Collaborate with Local Authority groups / NHS commissioners / other external stakeholders and internal key stakeholders, to provide information on the delivery of the service.
- Responsible for all programme-level strategic planning and implementing change and process improvements.
- Collect, analyse, and report immunisation data, including vaccination rates, coverage targets, and other performance metrics.
- Identify, assess, and prioritise potential risks and vulnerabilities across the delivery framework.
- Implement data-driven strategies to improve service delivery and increase vaccination uptake.
- Support staff through transitions by offering clear communication, training, and resources to facilitate the smooth adoption of new processes or practices.
- Ensure Health Promotion is carried out for all programmes.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Degree Educated/Hiigher Education or relevent experience.
- Evidence of ability to deliver large, complex programmes in a highly regulated industry, ideally within the healthcare sector.
- Lead and manage collaborative working across divisional and organisational multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to deliver improvements in clinical and or non-clinical environments.
- Knowledge of Care Quality Commission desirable (CQC).
- Strong leadership qualities to lead, empower and motivate teams.
- Experience in budgetary and data analysis reporting.
- Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
- Assertive, team player and critical thinker.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills
