We’re looking for an Area Specification Manager – Infrastructure & Refurbishment – Central London & South East | Hybrid.

About Engineered Refurbishment: Our Engineered Refurbishment (ER) team protects, strengthens, and extends the life of critical infrastructure across the UK. From bridges and tunnels to major urban developments, we deliver technically advanced, system‑led solutions that create long‑term value for asset owners. You’ll join a high‑performing, collaborative team with a strong reputation for technical excellence and early‑stage project influence. We work closely across sales, technical, and vertical market teams, fostering a genuinely supportive, “win together” culture.

Purpose of the Role: This role drives specification‑led growth by engaging early with consultants, engineers, and asset owners across Central London and the South East. By influencing design decisions at the concept stage, you position Sika as the technical partner of choice, securing high‑value, complex projects and building a sustainable pipeline aligned to our infrastructure growth strategy.

What’s In it for You?

  • Lead the development of a high‑quality, specification‑led pipeline, influencing projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with consultants, engineers, and asset owners, positioning Sika as a long‑term partner.
  • Shape technically robust solutions that deliver durability, compliance, and whole‑life value across major infrastructure and refurbishment schemes.

This role allows you to genuinely influence outcomes, not just react to them—working on projects that define skylines and infrastructure for decades to come.

The Rewards: You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • EV/PHEV Company Car Fleet or Car Cash Allowance
  • Bonus Scheme
  • Holiday: 25 days rising to 28 days with service, plus bank holidays
  • Hybrid Working & Core Hours Working
  • Company pension contribution up to 10%
  • Private healthcare (option to add family)
  • Group life cover at 6Ă— your annual salary
  • Global Income Protection (PHI)
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Staff discount platform & Cycle to Work scheme
  • Dedicated Service Awards for reaching key milestones
  • Selected discounted Sika products

The Support: You’ll be part of a close‑knit, experienced team that genuinely supports each other. From technical experts to sales leaders, you’ll have access to the tools, knowledge, and mentorship needed to succeed. We foster a culture where ideas are encouraged, collaboration is expected, and success is shared—backed by strong leadership and clear strategic direction.

Qualifications: The Skills: This role offers the chance to deepen both your technical expertise and commercial impact. You’ll develop advanced knowledge in concrete repair, protection, and strengthening systems, while sharpening your ability to influence complex buying centres and long‑cycle opportunities. We are committed to professional and personal development from day one, offering comprehensive local training, product knowledge, leadership development initiatives, and access to the global Sika Business School.

Additional Information: The Future: Potential career routes include Sales Management, Key Account Management, Technical Leadership, and Vertical Market Leadership. We provide opportunities to progress within a global company across a variety of business areas.

Commitment towards Diversity: We welcome expressions of interest from all eligible applicants. The construction industry and the Sika salesforce remain disproportionately under‑represented by women; therefore we particularly welcome applications from women interested in a sales career in the building supplies and materials industry. We aim to provide an enabling and inclusive working environment for all.

What we need from you?

  • Experience or strong understanding of specification‑led sales or technical influencing.
  • Ability to build credibility with consultants, engineers, and asset owners.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure or refurbishment markets (or strong desire to learn).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills within technical environments.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing long‑cycle opportunities.

We offer competitive salaries aligned with local market benchmarks and the specific scope and responsibilities of each role.
