Job Description: We’re looking for a Product Engineer for Single-ply membranes to join our Roofing Product Management team. Field-based, Sika Roofing is a market leader manufacturer with an enviable track record both in the UK and across the globe. Sika manufacture, design, innovate an extensive range of flat roofing systems – our brands Sarnafil, Sikaplan, Sikalastic and Sikashield are some of the most recognised throughout the globe for being the most durable, reliable and sustainable solutions available.

Purpose of the Role: As Product Engineer – Single Ply Membranes, you will play a key role in protecting and growing one of Sika UK’s most important roofing product categories. Acting as the technical authority for the range, you will ensure our systems remain compliant, competitive and aligned to market needs—supporting sustained growth, strong specification performance and long-term market leadership.

Qualifications: What we need from you?

  • A strong technical understanding of roofing systems OR construction products
  • Experience managing products or systems through their lifecycle, from development to optimisation (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of testing, certification and regulatory requirements (e.g. BBA, CE/UKCA or similar)
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business performance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and commercial teams
  • Strong organisation, project management and attention to detail skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach (essential)
