We’re looking for a Business Administration (Supply Chain) Apprentice to join our Materials Management Team (Based in Preston).

About Operations

The Preston Site is a lower tier COMAH site and operates with the highest focus on health and safety, ensuring all teams work in accordance with site expectations. We operate two production facilities specialising in chemical manufacturing and polyurethane, working 24/7 5 days a week.

The materials management team supports manufacturing functions, ensuring we offer the best service to our customers. As an apprentice you will be tasked with supporting the delivery of raw materials to the site for use in production, then following this through with finished good movements into warehousing and to customers.

Purpose of the Role

The apprentice role is designed to provide learning and development opportunities for the next generation of supply chain specialists who are critical to supporting manufacturing functions. Through training and development you will acquire skills that enable the organisation to meet production demands and improve efficiencies by developing new tools and techniques to support our transition to a more automated facility.
