As a Weapon Systems Support Engineer you will be supporting the development and delivery of cutting-edge weapon systems by managing technical requirements, ensuring compliance, and delivering solutions that meet customer needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Report on technical status and progression of work packages. • Define and own equipment requirements, including roadmaps, fitness-for-purpose, and obsolescence plans. • Develop solutions addressing mechanical, functional, power, communication, and interface constraints. • Ensure compliance with commercial, military, and safety standards. • Deliver verification and validation strategies for certification and trials. • Facilitate technical exchanges with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Proficiency in requirements and certification engineering. • Broad engineering knowledge with potential specialisations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, computing). • Familiarity with the engineering lifecycle, risk management, and obsolescence planning
