THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an
ELECTRICAL AIT ENGINEER to support the preparation, integration, validation and testing of complex space systems and payloads.
The role involves developing test solutions, procedures, databases and control systems used throughout spacecraft and payload integration activities.
Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, the successful candidate will contribute to electrical integration, functional and performance testing, test automation, anomaly investigation and continuous improvement activities across the full test lifecycle.
- ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define electrical test setups and integration configurations.
- Design and specify electrical test aids, harnesses and supporting equipment.
- Produce electrical integration, functional test and performance test procedures.
- Support spacecraft and payload integration and validation activities.
- Execute functional, performance, validation and test data reports
- Investigate test anomalies and support root cause investigations.
- Develop and maintain automated test sequences and software scripts.
- Create, update and deploy test system and spacecraft databases.
- Support the development, maintenance and configuration of test benches and control systems.
- Deploy and validate software releases within test environments.
- Produce technical documentation, user guides and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational procedures.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Electrical integration, verification and validation experience.
- Test preparation, test execution and reporting.
- Experience developing technical procedures and work instructions.
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and anomaly investigation.
- Understanding of electrical power systems and electronic test equipment.
