The role spans system-level design through to operational support, working closely with project, RF, and test operations teams.Key Responsibilities Design, integrate, validate, and document RF and microwave test system solutions, including associated test and control hardwareDevelop complete test solutions covering system design, hardware integration, software interaction, and validation activitiesEnsure all solutions are delivered in compliance with defined quality processes and engineering standardsProduce and maintain technical documentation, supporting formal design and project reviewsLiaise with the Project Responsible Engineer to support successful milestone reviews and programme deliveryProvide ongoing technical support during the operational phase, in collaboration with Test OperationsRespond to test hardware-related occurrence reports and non-conformance issues, providing technical input and resolutionContribute to weekly and monthly project and departmental reportingEssential Skills & Experience RF and microwave system designMicrowave theoryRF test equipment, including Network Analyzers and Spectrum AnalyzersSystem build and integrationValidation and verificationSoftware interaction within test systemsTest solution documentation and formal review processesDesirable Skills Background in aerospace or defence hardware testingDegree in Electrical, RF or Electronic EngineeringBenefits Competitive Basic Salary6% Employers Contribution + 6% as a salary sacrificePrivate Medical Insurance, Life Cover and Income Protection25 days holiday10 days full sick pay per yearFlexible workingCycle to Work & TechSchemeContinuous professional developmentCorporate access to the Udemy platform
