We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager with sign industry experience to join our creative team at Signs Express (Dartford) and play a pivotal role in our next phase of business growth.
As Sales Manager, our ideal candidate will develop an ambitious sales strategy and help grow the business alongside the Centre Owner. You will proactively target local and national businesses within the territory, creating leads and building new client relationships.
- Location: Signs Express (Dartford) Unit 3, Parker Knight Industrial Centre, 275-289 Watling Street, Dartford, DA2 6EP
- Salary: From £35,000 per year, dependent on experience
- Working Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
- Travel: A full, clean driving licence and own transport are essential for local travel

About the Role:
You will work across various sectors, including professional services, construction, transportation, creative agencies, and industrial. You should be an excellent communicator, managing the front end of the sales cycle and representing the business professionally. You will use all outbound sales channels to nurture existing business and generate new opportunities.
Duties Include:
- Engaging with clients, generating leads, and achieving sales targets.
- Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan aligned with business objectives to grow the customer base.
- Understanding territory dynamics, customer needs, and the local market.
- Interacting professionally and friendly with clients, exceeding their expectations.
- Working with local and national businesses to deliver bespoke signage solutions with outstanding service.
- Engaging with customers on-site for consultations, surveys, and reviews.
- Processing quotes via our system, supporting the sales process, and requesting reviews.
- Supporting the Centre Owner with daily operations as needed.
- A minimum of two years’ sales experience, preferably within the signage industry.
- Motivated, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Clarity is a plus but not essential.
- Flexibility to work outside core hours when required.
- Use of company vehicle, uniform, and PPE provided.
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 27 days with service.
- Christmas and New Year closure, team events, networking, training, and volunteer days.
