Signs Express (Sheffield/Rotherham) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Experienced Sign Maker. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career and to play an integral part in developing and growing our team.

- Salary: Depending on experience
- Working Hours: Full-time position, 40 hours a week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday

As an established, family run, award-winning business servicing Sheffield, Rotherham and the surrounding areas, we are part of the UK and Ireland’s leading signage and graphics network with an excellent reputation for bespoke solutions, delivered with excellent customer care.
The ideal candidate will have a full range of skills and experience including:
- Be an experienced Sign Maker and have 2-3 years’ experience in signage production and installations, covering all types of signage and including good knowledge of manufacturing and installation techniques.
- Have good creative and technical design skills and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Be able to demonstrate previous customer facing experience, including experience of carrying out site surveys and producing quotations.
- Ability to interpret design and project briefs accurately.
- Have experience of good health and safety practice.
- Be an excellent communicator and relish the opportunity to work within a small, highly motivated team.
- Be highly flexible in approach, self-motivated and confident to work on own initiative.
- IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations desired but not essential as training will be given.
Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, be flexible, a great team player, well organised and have a good understanding of the importance of health and safety.
Working Hours
The hours of work are normally 40 hours a week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday, and from time to time you maybe required to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
