This is a full-time, on-site role based in Peterborough for a Signmaker/Fitter. In this position, you will be responsible for manufacturing and installing a wide variety of signage, including shopfronts, graphics, and window displays. Tasks include working with different materials, operating machinery, completing vinyl application, and ensuring the timely and accurate installation of signs at various locations. Compliance with health and safety standards and collaboration with the design and production teams are integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Hands-on skills in signmaking, including operating machinery, applying vinyl, and assembling signage
- Familiarity with installation techniques, measuring, and working with tools in both workshop and on-site settings
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients
- Possession of a valid UK driving license is essential
