We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly dynamic team at Signs Express (Oxford) as an experienced Sign Maker & Installer. As a key member of the production department, you will thrive with the diversity of work our centre handles every day, giving you an ideal opportunity to develop new skills, make a difference and grow with the business.
Location: Signs Express (Oxford) Unit 5E Trident Business Park, Didcot, OX11 7HJ
Salary: From £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm

Duties Include:
- Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including ACM, acrylics, metals, vinyl and foamex, to a consistently high standard.
- Application of vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles, walls, window graphics, panels and fascia’s.
- Installing all types of internal and external signage using power tools and various access equipment.
- Ensuring all installations are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards.
- Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.
- Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators.
- Occasionally conducting site surveys.
- Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely.
- Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working.
- Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.
About You:
- A minimum of three years’ experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions including vehicle graphics.
- Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators.
- Reliable, good time-keeping and strong work ethic.
- Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team.
- A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety.
- Experience of vehicle wrapping (desirable but not essential).
- IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desired but not essential).
You will have the use of our company vehicles, with all tools, uniform and PPE also being provided.
20 days holiday allowance (plus bank holidays).
Company pension after 3 months.
