Where supply chain transformation meets delivery excellence.

Our global, purpose led, truly dynamic market-leading client is appointing a Senior Operational Lead to drive and optimise operations across multiple high-impact functions, during a period of significant transformational change. As the business shifts from physical to digital products and services, this role will be central to designing and operationalising new platforms and ways of working that future-proof their quality, scale, and efficiency.

We are looking for a heavyweight operator. Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, you will:

  • Lead teams based in the UK and abroad, spanning both permanent and extensive seasonal workforces.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end operations including creation/manufacturing, customer services, programme management and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and develop Vice President level direct reports.
  • Align cross-functional teams with strategic priorities.

This is a hands-on yet strategic role that blends day-to-day operational leadership with the mandate to shape their supply chain transformation. This is not ‘business as usual’.

Your remit will include strategic end-to-end operational development, embedding robust compliance and risk frameworks, and introducing practical digital and AI-enabled solutions to automate and enhance core processes. You will ensure all operations meet rigorous standards and are audit-ready, establishing performance metrics, benchmarking and contingency options that drive continuous improvement and resilience.

We seek a leader with proven experience of managing large, distributed teams in a regulated environment and a track record of delivering complex transformation programmes driving operational excellence at scale. You will be comfortable operating in a matrixed, corporate setting, yet maintain a strong bias to action: simplifying complexity, removing barriers and holding teams accountable for outcomes. Strong stakeholder management, data-driven decision making and the ability to translate strategy into measurable results are essential.

This role would suit those with leadership experience transforming supply chain operations in a variety of sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, aviation, or media.

This confidential search offers an opportunity to join a global corporate at a pivotal moment in its transformation. Initial conversations will be handled discreetly. If you are interested, please apply with your CV. Given the very high volume of responses typically received through LinkedIn you can expect us to be in touch within 10 days of your application if we consider you to be a strong fit with our detailed brief.
