More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you as Transportation Manager in Markham, Ontario Canada with Signify. As a Transportation Manager, you will develop and lead the regional transportation strategy across all modes, supporting commercial, industrial, and supplier flows (finished goods and components). You will play a key role in optimizing carrier performance, managing transportation costs, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.

What you'll do

  • Develop and lead regional transportation strategies across inbound and outbound flows
  • Drive carrier performance through KPIs, analytics, and structured performance management
  • Establish and maintain transportation dashboards and reporting for visibility and decision-making
  • Act as the central coordination point between Freight & Distribution teams and regional stakeholders
  • Leverage AI-driven insights to anticipate disruptions, capacity risks, and cost deviations

More about you

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in transportation / logistics / supply chain
  • Leadership OR ownership experience, which could include:
    • Formal leadership role OR Individual contributor role with:
    • Continuous improvement ownership
    • Project ownership
    • Self-management / autonomy
    • Driving growth or change initiatives
  • Proven experience managing carriers and transportation service providers
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
