Node.js Developer

About the Role

I\’m hiring a Node.js Developer to join the core team at a well‑funded early‑stage startup in London. The company is building an AI‑driven commerce platform that uses agentic AI to remove hidden admin tasks for small businesses.

You’ll work across the stack (Node, Python, React/Next.js, TypeScript, AWS) to build the intelligence behind ordering, payments, and workflow automation. It’s a high‑ownership role on a small, senior team where you’ll ship fast, influence architecture, and build features used by real businesses every day.

What You’ll Do

• Build core systems across orders, payments, and discovery
• Work end‑to‑end across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
• Develop agentic/AI‑powered flows (LangChain, MCP or similar)
• Deploy, monitor and scale AWS infrastructure
• Ship quickly and iterate based on real user feedback

You’ll Thrive If You Have

• Strong full‑stack experience (Node, TypeScript, Python, React/Next.js)
• AWS + Terraform + CI/CD experience
• Exposure to agentic or AI‑powered systems
• A builder mindset and comfort working autonomously
