We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to take ownership of non-functional requirements for one of our most critical platforms, supporting millions of transactions daily and high-value revenue streams.
You’ll define, develop, and enforce standards for:
- Performance, scalability, and reliability
- Observability, capacity planning, and resilience
- Cloud architecture and cost-efficient scaling (mostly AWS)
- Automated performance validation integrated into CI/CD pipelines
About you:
- Expert in full-stack, performance, and reliability engineering
- Proven development experience with Node OR Python architecting and building performant systems
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and how design choices impact throughput, latency, and scaling
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust, k6)
- Comfortable influencing architectural decisions with evidence-backed recommendations
