Overview

Job title: Full-Stack Engineer – AI Platform

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 + Meaningful Equity

Role Location: London – Hybrid 2 days a week

They are building an AI-driven commerce platform powered by agentic AI, helping independent makers and small businesses eliminate the invisible admin that slows them down. Their mission is to create intelligent systems that listen, interpret, and take action so independents can operate with ease, focus, and flow.

Role and Responsibilities

• Building core systems across ordering, payments, discovery, and workflow automation.
• Working end-to-end across backend, frontend, and infrastructure using Node, Python, React/Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS.
• Designing and evolving intelligent, agentic flows using frameworks such as LangChain, MCP, or similar.
• Deploying, monitoring, and scaling infrastructure in AWS (Terraform, CI/CD).
• Shipping quickly, learning from real user feedback, and iterating rapidly.
• Influencing architecture, technical decisions, and overall engineering standards in a small, high-trust team.
• Collaborating closely with the founding team to move fast, solve meaningful problems, and build elegant, scalable systems.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience building and shipping production systems (startup or high-growth background strongly preferred).
• Strong full-stack expertise (Node, TypeScript, Python, React/Next.js).
• Solid AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD experience.
• Exposure to agentic or AI-powered systems (e.g., LangChain, MCP).
• Builder mindset with a track record of solving problems and delivering at speed.
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in open, ambiguous problem spaces.
