A global financial markets organisation is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Marketing & Events Assistant to support its European Institutional Marketing team. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high‑quality marketing campaigns and events aimed at institutional clients and prospects across Europe. You will collaborate closely with the European Institutional Marketing Lead and work with internal stakeholders including Sales, Design, Compliance, Legal, and external partners across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support regional marketing initiatives across multiple product areas, including equities, derivatives, market data, indices, listings, and clearing.
  • Assist in the execution of European institutional marketing campaigns from planning through delivery, managing timelines, creative assets, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Support regional events, sponsorships, and partner activities while ensuring consistent messaging and brand standards.
  • Liaise with internal business teams regarding event participation, campaign requirements, and key messages.
  • Work with design teams to create promotional materials and collateral, ensuring appropriate compliance and legal approval.
  • Manage institutional events end‑to‑end, including venue and organiser coordination, invitations, registrations, merchandise, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Maintain attendee records within CRM systems and coordinate with sales teams on post‑event engagement.
  • Produce event‑related content, including brochures, exhibition materials, and website copy.
  • Support email campaign execution using marketing automation platform.
  • Monitor and report on campaign and event performance, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior stakeholders, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to support reporting and return‑on‑investment measurement.

Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a marketing and events role, preferably within financial services or a B2B environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with creative and design teams within a regulated environment.
  • Confidence in tracking, analysing, and reporting marketing performance metrics.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using CRM platforms for campaign management, contact management, event tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Experience with collaboration and knowledge‑management platforms.
  • Understanding of financial markets, particularly exchange‑traded products or institutional asset management.
