A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Tax Manager into a key leadership role within its growing tax team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio covering individuals, trusts, estates and partnerships, while also playing a central role in developing the team and helping drive improvements across the wider tax function.
The role includes exposure to a broad range of private client matters including CGT, IHT, trusts, residence and domicile issues, alongside responsibility for reviewing complex self-assessment returns and overseeing employment-related compliance.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, act as a trusted adviser to clients and mentor junior team members, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking greater visibility and long-term progression.
The successful candidate will be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong private client tax experience, excellent communication skills and previous experience managing client portfolios and supervising staff.
