Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a role where you can genuinely influence organisational performance, drive change, and make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a commercially minded and people-focused HR Business Partner to support a diverse operational division within a national organisation. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across a broad remit, helping to shape people plans, improve engagement, drive performance, and support organisational change.
This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders, lead complex employee relations activity, and contribute to key people initiatives across a geographically dispersed workforce.
The RoleAs a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you will:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Lead on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases.
- Support organisational change initiatives including restructures, harmonisation projects, redeployment and redundancy consultations.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, policy and best practice.
- Produce and analyse HR metrics to support informed decision making.
- Support talent and succession planning activities.
- Work collaboratively with Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll, Finance and other support functions.
- Line manage and develop HR team members, ensuring a high-quality HR service is delivered across the business.
- Lead and contribute to wider HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous HR Business Partner experience within an adult social care or healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance people and business priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
- Experience managing complex HR casework and mitigating organisational risk.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working within a large, multi-site organisation.
