Why This Role Matters
We’re looking for a proactive Contract Manager who takes ownership, raises standards, and brings fresh ideas - not someone who simply maintains the status quo. You’ll lead two key cleaning contracts across retirement villages and local authority housing, making sure the team are delivering regular cleans, deep cleans, window cleaning and general site upkeep to high standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead with impact
- Build a culture of pride, fairness and accountability.
- Support and coach mobile teams to raise performance.
- Maintain regular on-site presence to build trust and ensure high standards.
- Run the contract like your own business unit: Manage budgets, resources and organic growth.
- Oversee subcontractor delivery, including quality checks and evidence validation.
- Conduct monthly KPI meetings with senior customer teams.
- Drive process improvements and train teams on systems.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Visit sites regularly and ensure customers feel valued.
- Strengthen confidence in service delivery, especially ahead of renewals.
- Grow the contract.
- Spot opportunities for upselling (e.g., specialist cleans).
- Encourage teams to log opportunities via the company’s operating system.
What We’re Looking For
A confident, forward-thinking Contract Manager (or strong Assistant CM ready to step up). Experience managing mobile cleaning teams and delivering high standards. Someone who brings ideas, takes ownership, and drives improvement - not a passive manager. If you have the required experience then we encourage you to apply today!
