We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the insurance sector to find a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to join their dynamic team in Maidenhead.
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing key financial transactions and supporting the wider finance function. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the organisation’s accounting operations, particularly around insurance-related transactions.
- Process insurance-related transactions including premium receipts, claims payments, loss recoveries, and reinsurance outflows.
- Maintain and update the vendor database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
- Respond to internal and external queries related to financial transactions with professionalism and accuracy.
- Upload financial documentation to the OnBase system for recordkeeping and audit purposes.
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with accounting standards.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Support the finance team with various ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other core PC applications.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials is advantageous.
