We are seeking an experienced VAT specialist to take full ownership of a global remit. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in complexity, champions operational excellence, and knows how to build world-class tax control environments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all Indirect Tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, shaping processes, strengthening controls, and partnering with senior leaders to drive confident, compliant decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthening the EMEA VAT control framework and ensuring robust compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Acting as the key liaison for the region, serving as the primary point of contact during external audits.
- Ensuring VAT accuracy across EMEA within SAP.
- Driving and governing e-invoicing solutions and contributing to the broader indirect tax technology strategy.
- Providing expert VAT advisory support and partnering closely with operational teams.
- Supporting transformation initiatives across the EMEA region to enhance efficiency and control.
Experience Required
- Extensive indirect tax experience within an international environment, with strong EMEA exposure.
- Proven ability to shape VAT strategy, support global transformation programmes, and embed best-practice processes.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary on offer will vary depending on experience: £60,000-£110,000 Salary, Bonus, Pension, PMI, 25 days holiday, 3-4 days a week in the office.
