Key Responsibilities: As the Finance Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Checking the balances of multiple bank accounts daily, ensuring accuracy and promptly flagging any discrepancies. Managing accruals and maintaining up-to-date financial records. Processing payment runs, including the timely and accurate payment of consultant invoices (equivalent to payroll). Overseeing rental prepayments on a quarterly basis and managing rental income. Drafting loan agreements and managing associated documentation. Using Webfiling for company secretarial tasks and statutory submissions. Conducting ad hoc analysis of supplier costs, ensuring value for money and contract compliance. Reviewing contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved terms. Participating in project work to support the wider finance function and drive operational efficiencies. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a similar finance role, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in working with financial systems and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel). Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
