This is a rare and genuinely significant appointment. Our client is a globally respected, financially robust organisation, a recognised leader in their sector, with an established and growing office portfolio spanning the UK and wider EMEA region. As they continue to scale, they are seeking an exceptional Corporate Real Estate professional to take full ownership of their regional portfolio function. This role carries real weight. You will sit at the intersection of business strategy and operational delivery, advising executive leadership while simultaneously ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. If you are looking for a position that offers both strategic influence and hands-on project responsibility, this is it.
The Role
Reporting into Global Corporate Real Estate leadership, you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of a complex, multi-country office portfolio. This encompasses everything from long-term strategic planning and market analysis through to lease negotiation, capital project delivery, facilities governance, and budget management. Critically, this is not a purely advisory position. Our client needs someone who is equally comfortable presenting a multimillion-dollar business case to a senior leadership team as they are directing a fit-out project on site. You will lead internal and external teams, manage significant OpEx and CapEx budgets, and be the decisive, trusted presence that both your team and senior stakeholders rely on. Autonomy is a defining feature of this role. You will be empowered to make consequential decisions, shape the regional portfolio strategy, and drive initiatives from inception through to completion; all within a values-led, professionally rigorous organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, commercially focused advice to executive and senior leadership on all aspects of the regional real estate portfolio
- Lead complex lease negotiations and manage brokerage relationships across multiple markets
- Oversee the acquisition of new locations and the disposal of surplus space
- Deliver end-to-end capital fit-out and buildout projects with full accountability for cost, quality, and programme
- Prepare and present detailed business cases to senior and executive stakeholders
- Maintain full financial governance across OpEx and CapEx budgets with accurate and timely reporting
- Ensure governance across property management, physical security, and health and safety, coordinated with the wider business
- Attract, develop, and manage a high-performing team of project managers, facilities managers, and administrators
About You
- A minimum of ten years of corporate real estate experience, with demonstrable exposure to the UK and ideally the broader EMEA territory
- A strong track record of negotiating real estate, construction, and facilities contracts across multiple jurisdictions and legal frameworks
- Financially literate and analytically capable, with confidence owning budgets, producing cost analysis, and translating complex data into clear recommendations
- A solid understanding of architectural design principles, workplace strategy, and construction practices — sufficient to lead and challenge specialist teams effectively
- A confident, values-driven leader who thrives in environments requiring both independent judgement and collaborative engagement
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships from field office management through to executive level
- The composure and clarity to navigate ambiguity and complexity without losing momentum
What's on Offer
- Highly competitive salary reflecting the seniority of the appointment
- Final salary pension scheme
- Private medical insurance contribution
- Annual incentive plan
- Fitness reimbursement
- Wellbeing and mental health support
- Additional leave provisions
