The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll be the go to finance contact for several operational and commercial divisions. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to understand performance drivers, influence decision making, and ensure the business is equipped with accurate, forward looking financial insight. This is a hands on, high visibility role where your analysis will directly impact profitability, planning, and strategic direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Business Partnering & Commercial Insight
- Build strong relationships with operational leads across multiple business units
- Provide financial insight on pricing, cost recovery, investment decisions and margin performance
- Support project reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities and commercial impacts
- Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead monthly rolling forecasts across revenue, margin, overheads and cashflow
- Support annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Align financial plans with pipeline, delivery assumptions and resourcing needs
- Contribute to long term planning and 5‑year strategic modelling
- Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Produce monthly and quarterly reporting packs for budget holders
- Build dashboards that drive visibility, accountability and action
- Support Board and Exec reporting with clear, compelling analysis
- Work with the Head of FP&A to enhance planning tools, data structures and reporting processes
- Partner with the Financial Controller to ensure consistency between management and statutory reporting
- Improve cost centre structures, chart of accounts and project reporting accuracy
About You
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Strong background in management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience with ERP and reporting tools (Power BI, NetSuite, Proscope etc.)
- Confident communicator who can influence non‑finance stakeholders
- Curious, proactive and comfortable challenging the status quo
