Signet are looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join a busy HR team within a leading professional services organisation.
This varied role will provide support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, pre-employment screening, employee relations, immigration, benefits and general HR operations.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and wider initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support onboarding, induction and pre-employment screening processes.
- Complete and maintain accurate right-to-work and immigration records.
- Liaise with new joiners and third-party screening providers.
- Provide administrative support across employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance meetings.
- Support maternity, paternity and shared parental leave processes.
- Assist with annual pay reviews and employee benefits administration.
- Respond to general HR queries and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support HR projects and other ad hoc activities as required.
About You
- At least six months' HR experience, ideally within legal, professional services or a similar environment.
- CIPD qualification or study towards CIPD is desirable but not essential.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, pragmatic and able to manage a varied workload at pace.
- Confident building relationships and providing a high-quality HR service.
- Flexible, resilient and able to use initiative.
- Good IT and numeracy skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in HR or a related discipline desirable.
