Are you enthusiastic about marketing, events, and fundraising? This role is ideal for someone with a couple of years' experience in a marketing or events support role who’s ready to take the next step in their career. Previous fundraising experience is a must. As the Events and Fundraising Executive, you'll become an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to a range of engaging projects. From coordinating events to supporting fundraising initiatives and membership growth, this hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your skills in a supportive, creative, and ambitious environment.

To support and help drive the growth, impact, and effectiveness of our marketing, fundraising, and events efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fundraising
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and initiatives
  • Create and implement fundraising campaigns
  • Maintain accurate records of donors, sponsors, and fundraising efforts
  • Evaluate and report campaign performance to guide strategic planning
  • Events
    • Organise and manage established LTC events
    • Support the development of new events in line with our 5-year strategic plan
    • Coordinate team participation in external events
    • Attend industry functions to promote the charity and foster relationships with potential supporters and sponsors
  • Membership
    • Oversee the charity's membership management systems
    • Design and execute campaigns to attract and retain members
    • Track and report on membership growth and engagement
  • Administration & Collaboration
    • Liaise with external agencies and partners
    • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, reporting, and correspondence
    • Assist with budget monitoring, ensuring marketing efforts remain cost-effective
    • Collaborate across the charity team to support broader organisational goals
    • Participate in events, meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Qualification in Marketing, Events, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
    • Demonstrated experience in marketing, events, or fundraising
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly organised, dependable, and punctual
    • Proficient with marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
    • Creative thinker with problem-solving capabilities
