Signet are currently supporting a values-driven organisation based in North Berkshire, seeking a Head of Estates and Compliance to join their team on a permanent basis. This person will lead the team, reporting to a Director, supporting a portfolio of 5 locations.
This senior leadership role is responsible for:
- Estates management
- Statutory compliance
- Health & safety
- Sustainability reporting
- Fleet management
The postholder will ensure consistent standards, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all sites.
Key elements of the role include:
- Provide strategic oversight of estates operations across multiple sites
- Lead and manage the Estates team
- Ensure delivery of maintenance programmes
- Oversee statutory compliance and audit processes
- Lead health & safety strategy, risk management, and reporting
- Manage sustainability data, carbon reporting, and ESOS compliance
- Oversee fleet operations
- Support capital projects and oversee minor works
- Manage budgets, procurement, and contractor performance
- Produce reports for senior leadership and governance
Qualifications & Experience:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Senior estates management experience in a multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and H&S legislation
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and suppliers
- Experience with energy data, sustainability, or fleet management (desirable)
